|Qualifications:||Four GCSE’s at grade C or above (Mathematics, Science, English and one other)|

|Job Description:||We are looking for a keen individual who would be willing to learn the skills and undertake the training necessary to become a competent Structural Technician within the construction industry. You will need to learn how to draw and create engineering models within AutoCAD and Revit and will be expected to follow the consistent, high standards required by the management team. You will also assist engineers and technicians in undertaking site works (surveys, monitoring, etc.) as required.|
The successful applicant must be prepared to join a real team environment and take a personal responsibility for playing their part in a vibrant, progressive company.
|Training provided:||After a successful qualifying period, the candidate will be expected to attend a part time diploma course in Construction and the Built Environment at Highlands College, successful completion of which will allow direct progression to the HNC Diploma in Construction.|
An exemplary level of attendance and performance must be maintained throughout passing each unit of the course without exception within the period specified by the lecturer and T&G Limited. Some evening lectures and attendance may be required as necessary for the course.
|Working towards a degree:||Candidates already possessing sufficient A-Level qualifications, or who successfully complete their HNC whilst working for T&G, will be supported by the company in pursuing a Degree in Engineering.|
