To make better use of the existing layout and create additional rooms (without impinging too much on the external amenity space), we provided structural design and drawings for both a single- and two-storey extension to this family home – as well as internal alterations. The extensions comprised traditional cavity block walls, suspended timber floors, a timber cut roof (pitched to match the existing roof), all supported on concrete strip foundations.
