Sometimes a client just doesn’t want straight lines; on this project we designed and detailed curved reinforced concrete stairs and composite floors within the existing building.
But the extension was just as interesting, with a steel frame incorporating a floating corner, composite concrete roof slabs to accommodate a green sedum roof system, and a reinforced concrete swimming pool! Outside we had a hand in the landscaping and designed the external retaining walls and reinforced concrete staircases, providing access to the patios and gardens around the property.
