Mr Saxon first joined T&G in November 2007 and has progressed through several internal positions since, most recently as Technical Manager with responsibilities including the production of high-quality 2D and 3D drawings for structural and civil engineering projects.

He has also played a leading role in supporting and developing the company’s technical team, providing both expert input to their work and offering mentoring advice and assistance.

Following the announcement of his promotion, Mr Saxon, a Chartered Technician (Eng Tech MICE), is looking forward to the added responsibility of helping advance T&G over the coming years alongside continuing his important focus on team development.

‘We work in an industry and environments that are constantly changing, which has resulted in many opportunities and challenges during my 15 years with T&G,’ said Mr Saxon. ‘Fortunately, I’ve seen that a great team ethos and spirit during that time meant the company not only survived but thrived.

‘I’m looking forward to more of the same. It’s a great honour that the trust shown by this promotion will allow me to take a leading role helping the company achieve ongoing success in the future.’

Director Marcus Taylor congratulated Mr Saxon on his promotion.
